Apple has seeded the third developer beta of macOS Golden Gate 27.2.
The build landed two weeks after the second beta. Registered developers can grab it now by opening System Settings, clicking General, selecting Software Update, and opting into macOS Golden Gate betas. The two changes Apple is testing: Siri's AI features now support additional languages, and the system adds new sliders for adjusting brightness and volume directly. Apple hasn't said which languages are newly supported, and no other changes have been detailed.
Language support is unglamorous but necessary work: an AI assistant that only understands English isn't much use outside English-speaking markets. The brightness and volume sliders are a smaller, more immediate change - the sort of interface tweak people notice the first time they open Control Center, whether or not they read the release notes.
It's a beta, not a finished product. Whether either change survives unchanged to the public release is still an open question.
