Apple opens beta download for iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27

Apple has released the first developer betas for iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 "Golden Gate".

To install, you need a registered Apple developer account. Open the Apple Developer portal, locate the "Beta Software" section, and download the appropriate configuration profiles. After installing the profiles on your device, go to Settings → General → Software Update and tap "Download and Install". macOS users add the macOS 27 installer to the Software Update pane via the same profile.

The betas bring Siri’s new conversational AI, a Spatial Reframing camera mode and a refreshed lock‑screen design. Early access lets developers adapt their apps to the updated APIs before the public roll‑out in the fall.

Expect occasional crashes and missing features – beta software is still a work in progress, not a polished preview.
