Anker's fan-cooled MagSafe charging station is $97 cheaper this Prime Day.
The Anker Prime 3-in-1 MagSafe Charger dropped to $132.98 from $229.99 as part of October Prime Day, its lowest price to date according to price trackers. The station charges an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods at once, with the main pad hitting 25W Qi2 speeds. A built-in thermoelectric cooling system and fan pull heat away from the phone during charging, with three selectable modes: quick-charge Boost, cooler-running Ice, and fan-off Sleep for overnight charging, all adjustable via an onboard touchscreen or Anker's app. The box includes a 65W wall adapter and a five-foot USB-C cable, and the metal-accented, 1.4-pound unit tilts up to 80 degrees to double as a stand.
Wireless charging's tradeoff has always been heat, and heat can wear down a battery over time. Anker is selling active cooling as the fix, which is a genuine engineering difference from the single flat pads most buyers already own. Whether that's worth $133 depends on how much you care about long-term battery health versus just plugging in a cable.
At the original $229.99, the cooling hardware was a hard sell. At nearly $100 off, it's at least a fair one.
