Anker is discounting power stations, chargers, and headphones ahead of Amazon's two-day October Prime Day event.
The sale runs October 6-7, and Anker's cuts range widely by category. The SOLIX S2000 power station gets the steepest discount at 43 percent off, landing at $679.99 from $1,199; Anker says it can run a standard fridge for 35 hours. Everyday charging gear moves far less: a 100W USB-C fast charger drops to $59.99 from $69.99, about 14 percent off, and a 200W desktop charging station falls to $69.99 from $79.99, about 13 percent off. Headphones land closer to the power station end, with the Soundcore Q20i noise-canceling pair down to $39.99 from $69.99, also a 43 percent cut.
The size of the discount tracks pretty closely with how much pricing power Anker has in each category. Power stations are the product line that built its reputation, so slashing them hard during a sales event still protects margin on big, infrequent purchases. Chargers and cables are commodities crowded with cheap competitors, leaving Anker less room to cut without racing to the bottom.
Discount hardest on what people buy once; discount least on what they'll buy anyway. That is less a Prime Day quirk than Anker's standard pricing logic.
