Robot lawn mowers are getting steep price cuts weeks before Amazon's official Prime Day sale even starts.
Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days doesn't open until October 6, but discounts on robot mowers from Dreame, Roborock, Mammotion, and Segway are already live. The Dreame LiDAR A3 AWD Pro drops from $3,699.99 to $1,799.99 with a clipped coupon, a $1,900 cut. Roborock's RockMow X120H falls to $1,799.99, its lowest price yet and a Prime-member-only deal. Mammotion's LUBA 3 AWD 3000 and Segway's Navimow i105N are also discounted, by $990 and $130 respectively.
These mowers all lean on the same pitch: LiDAR mapping plus AI vision to handle obstacles and slopes without buried wires, a feature set that was luxury-tier a couple years ago and is now standard across four competing brands. That the discounts are landing in late September, ahead of the mowing season's end, is the tell - retailers want inventory gone before winter, not because shoppers suddenly need a mower in October.
If you're actually mowing this fall, fine. If not, treat this as a pricing preview - the real test is whether these same models get cut further once Prime Big Deal Days officially starts on October 6.
