Apple's month-old smartwatch already has a price cut.
Amazon is selling the Apple Watch Ultra 4 for $779.99, a $19 discount off its $799 list price, and has now extended that price to three more configurations: the Natural model with Sand Trail Loop, the Black model with Black Ocean Band, and the Black model with Burgundy Trail Loop. The Ultra 4 launched this month, and this is the first cash discount any retailer has offered on it. It's also the lowest price tracked on the watch since it went on sale. Amazon also cut $9 off select Apple Watch Series 12 models, including the 46mm GPS version, now $439.99.
A flagship Apple product getting marked down so soon after launch is unusual. Apple typically holds list prices for months, sometimes years, and lets retailers compete on bundled trade-ins or gift cards instead of straight price cuts. A cash discount this early suggests either healthy supply or an early nudge to move less popular colorways.
Nineteen dollars off a $799 watch is a rounding error, not a doorbuster, so treat this as a preview of Black Friday pricing rather than a reason to buy today.
