Apple's AirPods Max 2 are $429 everywhere on Amazon right now, $120 off list.
Amazon has cut the price on every AirPods Max 2 color - Blue, Midnight, Orange, Purple, and Starlight - to $429, down from $549. That ties one of the lowest prices tracked for the headphones. The discount landed a full day before Prime Big Deal Days officially kicks off tomorrow. Apple's AirPods Pro 3 earbuds got similar early treatment, dropping to $179 from $249, also an all-time low.
Early discounting like this is becoming standard practice for Amazon's big sale events: retailers front-load deals to pull in shoppers before the official start, then hold similar pricing once the event formally begins. A $120 cut on a $549 pair of headphones is a real markdown, not an inflated number dressed up to look bigger than it is.
Still, this price will probably still be there tomorrow, and the day after - "Prime Day" increasingly describes a season, not a day.
